- The following shall be considered as employee separation categories:
- Resignation - voluntary and includes:
- Resignation with or without notice.
- Unexcused absence of three consecutive days without notice to the supervisor of record.
- Failure to return from authorized leave of absence.
- Failure to return to work from layoff upon recall.
- Retirement
- Layoff - as defined in Policy 3354:2-20-07.
- Discharge - college-initiated, involuntary employment termination due to unsatisfactory job performance and/or conduct inappropriate for the workplace.
- Resignation - voluntary and includes:
