Lakeland Community College offers many opportunities for students of all ages to earn a degree or certificate upgrade job skills or just take a class. Whatever you decide, Lakeland's programs are designed to help you succeed.
There are many types of visitations intended to meet your needs and address your specific questions and concerns:
We offer campus tours for prospective students who have not yet made their college enrollment decision.
Tours are approximately one hour in length, starting with a brief information session followed by a walking tour of the campus.
Campus Visit Days are for high school seniors and their parents and are typically held during the spring of each academic year. These visits may include the following:
Co-sponsored by Lakeland Community College and Lake Erie College, the Lake County Fall College Fair is held in the fall on Lakeland's campus. This annual event is free and open to the public. Students are offered the opportunity to speak with personnel from participating schools and ask questions regarding programs offered at that particular college or university.
You're invited to bring your group to campus for a visit. We ask that you make your reservation four weeks in advance so that we can provide you with the best experience for your group. Groups larger than fifteen persons require one adult for every ten students to assist in monitoring the group. Adults should plan to stay with the group during the tour and presentation.

Our recruitment staff is available to visit your school for individual, group or classroom presentations during the academic year. Presentations provide students with an overview of the programs and services that Lakeland Community College offers as well as our admission process and financial aid.

Lakeland Community College will host its annual Fall Campus Visit Day Monday, Feb. 19, 4-6 p.m. High school juniors, seniors and their families/guardians are invited to attend.
Each session will include information regarding how to get started at Lakeland, funding opportunities, academic programs and student services. Information sessions will be at the top of every hour and a tour will be conducted at the bottom of ever hour.

Visiting Lakeland's campus is a great way to get a feel for the college and find out if Lakeland could be right for you.
We offer a variety of events for every prospective student, whether you're getting ready to graduate high school, an adult looking to retool a career or a student looking to transfer to Lakeland from another college or university.
We want all individuals to engage fully in our campus events, whether in person or online. We invite dozens of schools from Ohio and surrounding states to participate in this free on-campus event to help Lake County residents learn more about their options in higher education.
Students and parents will have the opportunity to speak with personnel from participating schools and ask questions about colleges and universities of interest.

When you pull onto the campus from Route 306, park to the left in Student/Visitor parking and walk toward the Clocktower. Enter the A-Building on your right and turn left. You will walk past Admissions, Registration, Financial Aid, Counseling, Bookstore and a vending area; continue walking past Career Services and the Learning Center. The Recruitment Center will be at the very end of that hall, on the left side.
The campus visit will take an hour. It includes a general overview of the admissions process, a short video and a 30-minute walking tour of campus. Please let us know if you will require special accommodations as the walking tour includes many stairs.
The presentation and tour will not accommodate small children, we ask that you make child care arrangements prior to your appointment.
