If you are a high school student weighing your college options, now is the time to consider earning a college degree affordably. College Credit Plus

Lakeland Community College's College Credit Plus Program (CCP) offers high school students the opportunity to enroll at Lakeland on a part-time or full-time basis, and earn college credit which may also be used to fulfill their high school graduation requirements.

Tech Prep

Lakeland Community College Tech Prep programs are offered in local high schools, career centers and at Lakeland Community College. For most programs, registration begins during the second semester of the sophomore year, and if accepted, the student will begin as a high school junior. Some approved programs may begin at the start of the senior year.

Lakeland's recruitment center can help adult students navigate the enrollment process, choose an educational path, get financial assistance to pay for college, bring in transfer credits, and/or request credit for prior learning experience; find resources on campus to help balance family, job and classroom responsibilities; and answer frequently asked questions about starting or returning to school. For students transferring college credits TO or FROM Lakeland Community College, we strive to assist students with all phases of the transfer credit process. Lakeland's transfer center specializes in assisting students transferring either to or from Lakeland, helping to ensure students are up to date on equivalency guides and course articulation information.

Transient (visiting) students

Students home from their four-year college or university are welcome to catch up or get ahead at Lakeland.
