This cutting-edge form of learning emphasizes teamwork, hands-on learning, work-site experiences, critical thinking and problem solving. Want to learn how to design a website? Build a house? Have a hands-on experience in the health care field? Career tech provides you with this opportunity.
Your first step is to speak to your high school counselor. There are both two year and one year "senior only" programs that can prepare you for the career you want to pursue. These programs partner with businesses and colleges to give you the knowledge that you need to go on to earn an associate degree, bachelor's degree or even further. With Lakeland's Holden University Center, it's even possible to earn a bachelor's or graduate degree right here on campus!
