All special events involving large numbers of participants for official college functions such as dedications, groundbreaking, and unique community projects should be coordinated through the division of Marketing.

  1. The events, when scheduled, should be communicated to the office of Marketing.
  2. The unit initiating the project may request the services of Institutional Communications.
  3. The division of Marketing will recommend specific publicity procedures to ensure the proper coverage of the event and will, if necessary, inform other units of the college.
  4. The division of Marketing will ensure that Trustees are notified in advance of special events.
