Lakeland Community College offers a variety of opportunities for professional development, nonprofit and public service, and personal enrichment for the benefit of the community.

*Special Notice as of 3/27/2020*

Lakeland Community College will be unable to offer any Basic Life Support (BLS) classes through the summer. The American Heart Association has issued some guidelines for those who already hold BLS cards that are expiring, extending the expiration date by 60 days. Click here for more information.

For those who have not taken BLS yet, the Mentor Public Education Department may be able to help. They offer the full BLS classes and the "skills only" classes as well (for experienced providers only - those who have taken the American Heart Association online class and have previously held a BLS card). Call (440) 974-5768 or visit the City of Mentor website
