Welcome to the Lakeland Library! The library is full partner in the teaching and learning process of the college community. As the major information resource on campus, the library supports quality opportunities for lifelong learning by acquiring materials in support of the curriculum, providing access to those materials, and teaching information literacy skills. Search the catalog, see Library Services, and stay up to date with our monthly newsletter.

Community Borrowers

The Lakeland Library is open to the public. To receive a library account, community borrowers should apply in person and present a valid State of Ohio Driver's License or State of Ohio ID. A Lakeland "Community Borrower's Card" will be issued. Community users may borrow up to five items at a time. This includes any combination of Lakeland Library materials, Kirtland Library materials, OhioLINK and SearchOhio books, or interlibrary loan requests. OhioLINK databases are not available to community users from off-campus; they must be accessed from within the Lakeland Library. Community users will comply with all loan policies of the Lakeland Library. Community users are invited to attend library programs and participate in the library's book discussion group.
