On-site Child Care

Campus Kids is now enrolling for spring 2024!

Lakeland Community College provides an on-site childcare center for the children of students who are enrolled in credit classes at the college or at the Holden University Center.

Located in the L-Building inside our Teaching Learning Center (TLC), the program serves children ages three to pre-K, with both full-time and part-time options available. The center requires that children be toilet trained at the start of the semester. Lakeland Community College student parent/caregiver will be required to provide their class schedule.

Inquiries at Campus Kids are always welcome and appreciated. Contact us here with questions or to enroll.

Lakeland's Campus Kids is licensed by the state of Ohio, accredited by NAEYC and is a Step Up To Quality Five Star Award center.

Notice for Safety Protocols

To ensure the safety of our students, their children and our staff, we will follow guidance from the Ohio Department of Health and Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. Currently, the reduced staff to child ratio is one teacher per ten children.

Students will be required to provide their class schedule.

Campus Kids will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Fees

There is a $10 registration fee and the center charges $2.50 per hour per child.

Students who are interested in using the center for their child care needs and are eligible for financial aid are encouraged to include the costs in the funds needed for the semester.
