Lakeland Community College has partnered with Lake Health, now part of University Hospitals, to offer a health clinic on campus.
The clinic, located in H-Building, Room H-332, is open to the following:
- Currently enrolled students 18 years of age or older (excluding CCP students)
- Continuing status full and part-time employeees
- Non-continuing status staff accruing benefits
- Adjuncts in those semesters when they have an active teaching assignment
- Part-time counselors, librarians and tutors during periods of active employment
The clinic offers:
- Convenient, walk-in appointments at no cost to employees.
- Services of a Lake Health nurse practitioner.
The Lakeland Health Clinic provides basic health care services and treatment for minor illnesses, such as:
- Bronchitis
- Cold & flu symptoms
- Ear infections
- Minor allergic reactions
- Minor burns, skin rashes or simple lacerations
- Minor illnesses
- Pink eye
- Respiratory infection
- Sore throats
- Strains and sprains
- Urinary tract infection
Note: Necessary tests or follow up visits conducted at other facilities are subject to normal fees, co-pays and deductibles.
