Claim your college credit!

As a CTE student, you are actually earning college credits through Lakeland. This will give you a leg up when you decide to continue your education at Lakeland, or continue your education to earn a bachlor's or graduate degree at another college or university.

Students must earn a 2.75 overall GPA in their CTE program to qualify for college credit.

How to claim your college credit

Claim your college credit in three simple steps:

  1. Apply to Lakeland.
Students must apply to Lakeland during their high school graduation year, regardless of where they plan to go to college. Applying is easy, and only takes a few minutes. CTE students do not have to pay the application fee. After you apply, you will be sent an email that contains a LID (Lakeland ID), username and password information. Keep this information for future use! If you are a CCP student at Lakeland, you do not need to reapply.

Note: A Bilateral Agreement is an agreement made directly between the CTE program and Lakeland Community College.
  2. Send Lakeland's CTE office your bilateral agreement.
Your instructor will provide you with a bilateral agreement which needs to be filled out and signed by you and your instructor. Then, your instructor must submit the signed agreement to the Lakeland CTE office. Please include your LID (Lakeland ID) number on the front of the document.
  3. Send Lakeland Admissions your official high school transcript.
Transcript must come directly from your high school and be sent as an official transcript to transcripts@lakelandcc.edu.

Important: You will need to claim your credits within two years of completing high school.

Questions?

For questions regarding bilateral college credit, contact Lakeland's CTE Office.

For questions regarding Lakeland log in information, contact Lakeland's Help Desk.

For questions regarding Lakeland application, Lakeland ID or CTAG college credit, contact Lakeland's Office of the Registrar.

Are you planning to attend another college or university?

Please note that each college or university makes an independent decision as to whether they will accept credit(s). Acceptance of credit is only guaranteed if you attend Lakeland. You will receive the most credit if you use it at Lakeland and stay on the same career path.

You can access the "Request for Transfer" form through the Parchment Lakeland Community College (OH) Transcript Request.

Your transcript will be sent to its destination upon payment of the transfer fee and submission of the form.
