Supporting All Women at Lakeland

The Women's Center is an in-person and virtual community. We pride ourselves on our non-judgement atmosphere which helps students feel less scared or alone while going to college. We help students like you gain the resources, connections, skills and support might need to meet your educational goals, however you define them.

On campus we have a colorful and welcoming center in A-2110 which is staffed by at least one of us every weekday when the college is open. In addition, we are happy to reach out virtually via phone, email, text or video (Webex). Feel free to follow our social media (Facebook and Instagram), read our newsletter and attend our virtual activities. Contact us for support, a chat or to learn about events. Even better, visit us on campus in Room A-2110 to learn more about the Lakeland Women's Center.

Are you a:

  • Woman in transition looking for a new direction?
  • Young woman just starting college?
  • Single mother wanting to provide a better life for your children?
  • Married woman balancing school with household and family?
  • First generation college student unsure about how to proceed on campus?
  • Woman seeking a second chance?
