TLC Child Care & Preschool Hours
TLC Part-time Preschool Hours
(3 Years (Toilet Trained) up to pre-K)
Campus Kids Child Care Hours
(3 Years (Toilet Trained) up to pre-K)
Join us for four weeks while we investigate the realms of science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM)!
Discover new hobbies and explore favorite topics. Each week will include a variety of STEAM activities while promoting social opportunities and creative outlets. All activities will inspire curiosity, spark imaginations, encourage problem-solving and enrich your child's summer in a safe environment.
Reach for the stars! Your child will blast off while exploring space through hands-on experiments and expressive art!
This week is all about sustainability, conservation and environmentalism. Nature walks, experiments, projects and teamwork will guide us as we explore human impact on our environment and ways to build a sustainable future.
Your child will explore the many occupations who use STEAM every day. Daily visitors from our very own community will help us to utilize STEAM to create, experiment and enjoy! (No camp on June 19th, as the college is closed in observance of Juneteenth)
What's that noise? It's chemistry! Engaging activities will foster curiosity and build excitement as we explore properties of matter, reactions, chemical and physical changes and the role of chemistry in our everyday lives.
The cost for each week is $265. Sign up for all four weeks or individual weeks. Each week has a maximum capacity of 24 children.
Payment is due upon registration.

The mission of our program is to provide a safe, quality learning environment for young children while modeling a developmentally appropriate early childhood program for Lakeland Community College's Early Childhood Education Department.
We believe children learn through hands-on experiences that are active, engaging and meaningful, in a play-based environment that fosters development of the whole child. Teachers are facilitators, who actively participate in children's learning, while developing a partnership with each family. These professionals create an environment that meets the individual needs of all children while fostering independence, promoting problem-solving and strengthening communication skills. Each classroom should be welcoming and establish a culture for learning, through setting appropriate goals for children, in a developmentally appropriate environment that celebrates diversity.
The TLC is a state-of-the-art demonstration laboratory school, sponsored by the early childhood education associate degree program at Lakeland Community College. Students work under the direct and careful supervision of classroom lead teachers and department supervisors in all program classrooms.
