Rooms are scheduled 2-3 days prior to the first class meeting
Join us for four weeks while we investigate the realms of science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM)! Discover new hobbies and explore favorite topics. Each week will include a variety of STEAM activities while promoting social opportunities and creative outlets. All activities will inspire curiosity, spark imaginations, encourage problem-solving and enrich your child's summer in a safe environment.
For five days your child will be immersed into the world of physics. After some experimentation, they will be presented with a variety of challenges where they will use the concepts of movement and energy.
Each day your child will dive into a new habitat exploring their differences through hands-on learning. They will investigate how animals adapt to survive in harsh climates while experimenting with some of their attributes.
Matter matters! Liquid. Solid. Gas. Plasma. Your child will conduct various experiments using the four states of matter. They will take a look at how these states behave differently at different masses and volumes.
Your children will discover how four common occupations use STEAM. The days are packed with fun projects and visitors from the community.
The cost for each week is $250. Sign up for all four weeks or individual weeks. Each week has a maximum capacity of 24 children. Camps take place 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. Monday - Friday.
Payment is due in full at the time of registration.
Please contact Robin Ray for more information and to register at 440.525.7500 or rray@lakelandcc.edu.

What to do if you cannot make it to your session due to illness, car trouble or some other last minute emergency:
If you must cancel your session, please contact our department with as much advance notice as possible so that we may notify students and put a sign on the classroom door. Contact the coordinator that handles your course or call our registration desk.
If it is after 5 p.m. or on the weekend, please call campus police at 440.525.7241 and ask them to put a sign on your classroom door notifying students that your session is cancelled for that day. Then, notify the Lakeland Help Desk at 440.525.7570. The Help Desk will make a recording of any cancellations for the day.
When the college must unexpectedly close in the middle of a weekday, the Continuing Education office will make every effort to notify instructors and students.
When sessions must cancel for whatever reason, we will consult with the instructor and generally try to schedule a make-up session for the week following the original last day of class.
