If you have ever attended a college or university (other than Lakeland), even if no credit was earned and would now like to learn more about transferring into Lakeland Community College this session is for you! VIRTUAL ADULT LEARNER INFORMATION SESSION
These sessions focus on adult learners who are 25 or older and are considering enrolling at Lakeland Community College for the first time. Each session looks at the most asked questions among adults returning to school such as why should I return to school; how long will it take for me to earn a degree or certificate; and how can I afford it? We will also cover topics on the minds of many adult learners including childcare, online classes, credit for prior learning and experience, and more. MORE INFO

If you have previously been accepted and/or attended Lakeland (including former College Credit Plus and Tech Prep students), but have not registered for classes within the last two years, this session is for you! NEED ASSISTANCE COMPLETING THE FAFSA?
Lake-Geauga Educational Assistance Foundation (LEAF) is available for walk-in assistance to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on Mondays from noon - 2 pm in Room C-1012; no appointment necessary. The 2022-2023 FAFSA requires 2020 income information; the 2023-2024 FAFSA requires 2021 income information. Students should also bring their FSA ID and password. MORE INFO

HAS YOUR FINANCIAL SITUATION CHANGED SINCE FILING YOUR 22-23 FAFSA?
If you or your family’s financial situation has changed since filing your 2022-2023 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), you are eligible for a review by the financial aid office. To request a review, complete and submit the 2022-2023 Change of Circumstances Appeal Form along with relevant documentation. If you would like to discuss your circumstances with a financial aid representative, contact us at 440-525-7070 or finaid@lakeland.edu. MORE INFO
2023-2024 FAFSA NOW AVAILABLE!
In preparation for the next academic year, students are strongly encouraged to complete the 2023-2024 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online; students should use Lakeland's federal school code 006804. MORE INFO
LAKELAND SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE!
To be considered for over 130 scholarships that may be used towards tuition, fees and/or textbooks, students need to complete one simple application. This application should be completed each academic year. MORE INFO

Lakeland's Financial Aid office is committed to working with you to find ways to make your college education affordable for you and your family. We offer a variety of financial aid resources, services and programs designed to help meet your educational expenses. Our staff is dedicated to making sure you receive your aid in a timely and efficient manner.

The key to financing your education is to start planning early so that you will be better prepared to pay for college. To that effort, we encourage all students to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to determine eligibility for grants and other aid at studentaid.gov/fafsa. Lakeland's federal school code is 006804. Additionally, we recommend that all students complete the Lakeland Foundation Scholarship Application, which can be found at myLakeland in the Scholarship Center, located under myRECORDS.
