Academic, Career and Personal Counseling and Advising
Now's the time to get registered for fall 2025! Here are some convenient options for continuing students:
Register yourself through myLakeland
- Log in to myLakeland.
- Click the "Student" tab.
- Under "myCOURSES," click "Register for Classes."
- On Registration screen, select "Register for Classes," Select a Term and then click "Submit."
- Enter CRN numbers on "Add Classes Worksheet."
- Click "Submit Changes."
Beginning July 25, register for a half-hour ECA phone session in Schedule It through your myLakeland account and a college representative will call you within your reserved time slot. These sessions are specifically designed for continuing students to move through the registration process quickly to start fall classes on time.
It's simple:
- Beginning July 25, register for an ECA session in Schedule It through your myLakeland account. The steps to reserve your ECA appointment are below.
- Sign up for a half-hour time slot that works best for you, and you will receive a call during your reserved time slot.
- Leave with a plan to get you started for the fall semester.
Express Counseling and Advising phone sessions are:
- Monday, Aug. 4 – Tuesday, Aug. 26 | 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (last time slot at 4:00 p.m.)
To reserve an ECA appointment:
- Log in to myLakeland.
- Click the "Student" tab.
- Click the "Schedule It" icon.
- Click "Schedule Express Counseling and Advising."
- Select a time.
- Click "Reserve."
A confirmation email with important information will be sent to your Lakeland student email.

- Personal Counseling: As Licensed Professional Counselors we will help you explore solutions concerning personal concerns impacting your educational experience and personal development.

- Psychological Counseling: Lakeland's campus psychologist is available to help students succeed in pursuing their education when personal, emotional, family, or mental health difficulties interfere with their studies.

If a student is interested in any of the following health technology degree programs, Health Information Session appointments can be scheduled by contacting the Lakeland Student Service Center at 440.525.7050. Health technology programs include:
- Dental hygiene, health information management technology, histotechnology, medical laboratory technology, nursing, occupational therapy assistant, physical therapist assistant, radiologic technology, respiratory therapy and surgical technology.
