Lakeland's campus sits on 400 acres of rolling, wooded countryside in Kirtland, Ohio, about 25 minutes outside of Cleveland. The main entrance is located on State Route 306 near the intersection of Interstate 90. Short-term visitor parking is available near the primary faculty-staff parking lot. All students and visitors may park free of charge in any of the large parking lots surrounding the buildings.

Lakeland Community College is located at 7700 Clocktower Drive in Kirtland, Ohio - at Exit 193 State Route 306 and Interstate 90, only 30 minutes from downtown Cleveland. Mooreland is located on the Lakeland Community College campus.
From the West: Take Interstate 90 East. Exit 193 State Route 306 (Mentor/Kirtland). Turn right (south) onto S.R. 306. Lakeland is 1/8 mile up on the left.
From the East: Take Interstate 90 West. Exit 193 State Route 306 (Mentor/Kirtland). Turn left (south) onto S.R. 306. Lakeland is 1/8 mile up on the left.
From the South: Take Interstate 271 North to Interstate 90 East. Exit 193 State Route 306 (Mentor/Kirtland). Turn right (south) onto S.R. 306. Lakeland is 1/8 mile up on the left.
Lakeland students ride Laketran free with a student ID.
Students enrolled in credit classes at Lakeland and through University Partnerships have free access to Laketran's Local Routes bus service with our Lakers GO program.
Laketran operates Monday – Saturday with free transfers to Greater Cleveland RTA. Laketran's Local Routes offer regularly scheduled bus service throughout Lake County with service to campus on Routes 1, 2, 3, 6, 8 and 9. Route 11 provides morning and evening service between main campus and Laketran's Madison Park-n-Ride. Bus schedules are available at the student service center, athletic & fitness center (AFC), campus library and online at laketran.com.
Students can registered online for the Lakers GO program. To receive a Lakers GO bus pass, download the EZfare app and create an account. Once a Lakers GO registration is received an unlimited ride pass is added to your EZfare account. Laketran will continue to allow students to swipe a valid student ID at the fare box each time they board through 2023 to show student eligibility. All students must transition to the Laker GO pass on EZfare by January 2024. Bus schedules are available in Admissions, Library and AFC. Laketran also offers free Campus Loop service to get around campus.
With the Laketran app, you can plan a trip, read schedules, or track your bus in real time. By texting LTBUS + STOP ID + ROUTE NUMBER to 41411, you can find out the next time your bus will depart from your bus stop. The Lakeland campus bus stop ID is 14. Text messaging and data rates may apply.
Students are also encouraged to sign-up for Laketran Rider Alerts by texting LAKETRAN to 440.517.8100 for information on delays or detours.
Laketran's Campus Loop provides no-fare, accessible transportation connecting the Laketran Transit Center and Lakeland's main campus for students, faculty, staff and visitors. Click here to view a map and hours of operation.
Laketran is closed on federally observed holidays including: New year's day, Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. No services will operate these days.
