	This BBC page, though archived and no longer updated with new information, offers a great overview of various world religions, including information on beliefs and customs, rites and rituals, holy days, worship practices, texts and other information about each religion.

	This site, which purports to be the largest and most widely used web resource on the topic, offers "a freely available archive of electronic texts about religion, mythology, legends and folklore, and occult and esoteric topics."
	Pew Research Center: Religion & Public Life

	The non-partisan and non-profit Pew Research Center "conducts public opinion polling, demographic research, media content analysis and other empirical social science research" in a variety of research areas, "religion & public life" being one of them.
