Nominations are accepted fall and spring semesters for the 2019 Excellence in Teaching Awards.  Winners will be announced at the Service Awards in April.

The Lakeland Foundation announced a call for submissions for its Faculty Challenge Grant and Thomas W. Mastin Fund programs for spring 2019.  Application deadline for the spring funding cycle is February 28.  Submit applications electronically to Deborah Bordonaro in the office of the provost.  Copy the links below to  access the current Faculty Challenge Grant and Mastin Fund application forms and guidelines:

Excellence in Teaching & Professional Development

Committee Charge

The Excellence in Teaching & Professional Development Committee will encourage, develop, and support professional enrichment opportunities for faculty at Lakelkand Community College.  The committee will continually review relevant research, trends, and issues and conduct activities that will promote quality teaching and learning.  Full-time faculty members may apply to this committee for funds to engage in professional activity such as attending a conference, workshop or seminar.
